Importing into Egypt: Certificate of Conformity & Inspection Requirements
Cotecna is authorised by the relevant Egyptian authorities to issue Certificates of Conformity for exports of regulated products to Egypt.
Ensure Compliance with Egyptian Import Regulations
Importers bringing regulated goods into Egypt must obtain a Certificate of Conformity or Inspection to meet national standards and avoid customs delays. Cotecna is officially authorized to issue these certificates under Egypt’s conformity programmes managed by GOEIC and NFSA.
Cotecna’s Role in Egypt
As a trusted partner of Egyptian authorities, Cotecna supports importers by verifying product compliance before shipment. We are authorized to operate under two key programmes:
- GOEIC (General Organization for Export and Import Control): Cotecna issues Certificates of Conformity for a wide range of regulated products entering Egypt.
- NFSA (National Food Safety Authority): Cotecna provides Certificates of Inspection for food and food-contact products, ensuring they meet Egypt’s strict safety
